Trying New Things

Both kids are trying some new activities this fall... Makena is in her 1st ever dance class- Jazz! She loves it so far. She goes every Friday evening for a 45-minute class. She will do this all school year, ending with a recital in late spring. I'm not sure which she likes more- the dancing itself or the cute outfits she gets to wear to class. LOL

Landon is playing soccer. The only time he ever tried soccer before was during the summer a couple years ago... and he hated the heat! So- we thought we'd try it again, in the fall when it's cooler... and when they actually play games- not just run through drills. Eric is his head coach and Eric's cousin Kelly is the assistant. The kids are having a great time so far, and won their first game last week 7-6. We look forward to another couple months of evening soccer games. :)
