Snow Day!

We had our first snow day of the school year on Tuesday. It was pretty much a wasted day off... we only got a couple inches of snow but the school board jumped the gun, calling school off based on the forecast of 5-10 inches the night before, rather than waiting until the morning to cancel. The kids and I spent the morning in our PJs then ran errands and played in the snow in the afternoon. They had a great time. I was frozen but enjoyed watching them play. They even got to have a snowball fight & attempt to build a snowman with our neighbor Cole. We look forward to a few more days like this over the rest of the winter season!
