Last week, Makena's school participated in Red Ribbon Week. Each day, the kids got to dress special. Makena said very few kids in her class or throughout the school participated, but she was excited for these themed days, so she wore the appropriate attire each of the 3 days they had school (conferences were Thursday and Friday, so they didn't have school those days).
Monday, they got to wear their clothes inside out.
Tuesday, they wore a tie with their regular clothes.
Wednesday, they were supposed to wear red.
