Kid Friendly New Years Fun

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law came to Manhattan on New Year's Eve to spend the night, then take their kids home today. We spent the evening playing with the kids and having fun being together (until the kids' bedtime of course). We played quite possibly the longest game of Uno known to man but it was fun to include the 3 older kids and watch their little minds at work. Eric and Makena were a team, Ryan and Landon were another, Stephanie and Kara made up another team and I played by myself. Stephanie and Kara ended up winning.  After the kids went to bed, the 4 of us adults played the game Apples to Apples then watched The Hangover while us girls enjoyed some Sangria (YUMMY!) It was a fun, low-key way to ring in the new year.
