Mini Vacation, Day 2

On Saturday, after a nice breakfast at the hotel, we began our shopping expedition. We took advantage of lots of deals/sales, and got everyone some wonderful goodies throughout the day. We had lunch at the T-Rex Cafe, where the kids had fun making their own stuffed dinosaurs at their Build-A-Dino center. (pics in next entry) At the Legends, they held an Easter event for a few hours in the afternoon. There was a petting zoo, where the kids got to pet bunnies, chickens and a goat. We stood in line for over an hour to let the kids enjoy a pony ride. We tried waiting line for a bounce house and to meet the Easter Bunny but after the first line, the kids lost interest in waiting any longer. So- we grabbed popcorn at Topsy's for Landon and a donut from MeMa's Bakery for Makena. We rested at the hotel for a bit, then headed back out to Backfire BBQ for dinner, then back to the hotel yet again for more swimming, baths and bed. We were VERY tired after this long day, but everyone seemed very pleased with what a fun day we had!
