Vaca, Day 3 (AKA Easter, Eric's Bday)

This morning, the kids were very happy to wake up and see that the Easter Bunny had indeed found them in our hotel. They each loved seeing their Easter baskets full of candy-filled eggs, along with a beach towel, a swimsuit and flip flops. We had another good hotel breakfast, then decided to come back home to celebrate Eric's birthday. (We had initially planned to attend an Easter event at the Royals' stadium, but it was much later in the day, and we were all just ready to come home.) Each of the kids had made him two cards earlier this week, and I'd done some shopping for him on my last trip to Wichita. After playing outside for a good part of the afternoon, tonight we enjoyed an awesome meal, prepared by the birthday boy, and some frosted brownies- his choice. A wonderful end to a near-perfect weekend. Happy Birthday Eric!!!
