Fire Station Open House

One of our local fire stations has an annual open house to end Fire Safety Week. We have never gone before, so I decided this was our year to go! Eric was in a golf tournament, so it was just me and the kids. We had a great time! We saw some friends there and really enjoyed all the different activities for the kids- working the fire hose, using a fire extinguisher, riding on Old Engine Number One, watching the firemen put out a building fire and tear apart a car... What a day! I took the kids to our new Orange Leaf (frozen yogurt shop) afterwards to cap off the day. Yummy!
