Uncle Bob & Aunt Margie's House

We have been trying to find a free weekend to visit my aunt and uncle in Lee's Summit, MO for several months now. And we were very happy to have finally made it there last weekend! It was a wonderful couple of days. Saturday afternoon, after walking along Lake Jacomo, we went to Missouri Town and saw some Buffalo and Elk. We had a delicious home cooked meal out on their back patio, enjoying the amazing weather. The kids made some very neat projects and colored in their new Halloween coloring books. And they spent some very special time reading books with Aunt Margie while Uncle Bob & Eric "watched baseball" (aka took evening naps).  On Sunday morning, we visited downtown Lee's Summit and saw the train station and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Neighbor's Cafe. We took a long walk through their very scenic neighborhood. The kids will remember their special time with their great-aunt and great-uncle for a long time to come!
