Girl Scout Cookout

Since Makena will not be in scouts next year, we made sure to make it to her troop's end of the year cookout on Monday. And I'm very glad we did. The girls played several very fun games, then roasted their own hot dogs over the campfire. After dinner, they made S'Mores and received all their patches/pins they'd earned this semester. It was great to watch both kids have so much fun with their friends in such a unique setting. We will miss scouts next year for sure! We were blessed to have one of the best scout leaders I've ever met! Thanks so much for everything you do, Sara! You are a huge asset to our community, and are a very good example for all the girls you lead.
