Tennis, Anyone?

All season, I had been telling Makena we should go watch the KSU Women's Tennis team play... Well- we finally got around to it on our last day of Spring Break. The kids didn't really understand the scoring and all that, but I think it was good for them to watch them hit back and forth- with strength, quick feet, etc. So much of their tennis lessons is just learning to hit the ball in different ways, they don't get much time for the back & forth. This helped them see just how fast-thinking they need to be, in order to reach the ball and get it back over the net. They each received a free t-shirt, so that totally made it all worthwhile! :) Plus- we ended our little field trip with a stop at Orange Leaf, and who doesn't love that?
