While the rest of the population of Manhattan was at the football game on Saturday, my friend Emily and I took our kids bowling. They had a good time and I really enjoyed getting to see and catch up with Emily again. Luckily, we get a "date" every game day since she comes up from Wichita to see her mom, who lives here, and so her husband can attend the games. Our kids get along well, allowing us to enjoy ourselves.
