Sedgwick County Zoo

Thursday morning, we loaded up the van and set our sights on the Sedgwick County Zoo. I LOVE this zoo. We've been to several in our lifetime, and this is by far my favorite zoo. I may be a little biased since we've been going to this zoo since I was little bitty, but it really is wonderful. And the kids love it too. We keep a membership even though we've moved away, so we can go any time we're back in Wichita. Pam and Riley joined me, my mom and the kids. We were also able to meet my friend Patricia & her boys Nathan and Ben for lunch. We walked around together for a while, and chased our kids from exhibit to exhibit, trying to take it all in. It was fun watching the kids play together and watch them have so much fun with people they only see a couple times a year. It definitely wore the kids out yet again to walk around the zoo for over 4 hours, so it was definitely a great thing to have done on the one nice day over spring break.
