Landon's class had a field trip to a locally owned pizzeria a little over a week ago. (Yes- I know, I am WAY behind with my blogging!) We all carpooled, so he was very happy to have his friend Kenzie riding with us. Each of the 3 preschool classes got a chance to go into the kitchen to learn how the oven works and to make their own class pizza. While one class was in the kitchen, the other 2 sang songs and talked about nutrition. It was a fun way to keep them occupied and some of us parents learned some new songs. Then they all got to eat a piece of the pizza their classes had made. Our class made a pepperoni, and then an extra one- just cheese- so there would be enough for teachers and parents too. What a great snack that made! And what a fun way to spend a morning!
