4 kids = sleepover fun
The Carson kids came over to spend the night on Friday. Kirsten had to work overnight and Mike was out of town, so I invited them to stay with us. Kirsten brought the kids some pizza for dinner, which they ate out on the back patio. They played outside for a bit before coming in and finding more things to keep them busy & entertained. The girls made some bobby pins w/ braided string hanging down from them. Then they got out Makena's beads and made bracelets. The boys watched part of a movie, played a couple of games then got out the iPad and played on it for a long time. They had brownie sundaes out on the back patio before coming back in for even more fun. The girls decided they should put makeup on and model it for us. :) And the boys continued on the iPad. At bedtime, the boys settled in the playroom to watch FernGully before falling asleep. The girls watched Marmaduke and slept in the living room. After breakfast on Saturday morning, the kids requested to do some art projects. They did some shaving creme finger painting and then used paint dobbers & puffy paint for some real painting. Another successful sleepover! (if you don't count the very tired & cranky kids we had on our hands the next day!)
