Houseful

We definitely had a houseful of kids last week! It might not seem so for most people, who are used to having 4 or more kids in their family... but in a house with only 2 (and a pretty small house at that), having 4 kids, 8 & under... it got pretty loud and crazy. And we wouldn't trade it for the world! We were able to have our niece & nephew, Kara (5) and Noah (3) come stay for 8 days this past week. And what a fun time we all had! I tried to take the kids to do some extra stuff in addition to our normal busy schedule. We ate out 3 times. They went to 2 t-ball games, 1 softball game, 3 parks, 2 pools, the splash park, Landon's golf lesson, library book clubs... we took several walks, played outside & upstairs, watched lots of movies, played on the iPad, and laughed tons. We will be excited to continue this tradition every year in the future... and with 1 extra kid (cause their parents are expecting 1 more in the winter!). Not sure how a house with 5 kids will function... but we'll manage and enjoy every second once again... But for now, I think I'll rest up!
