End of Basketball Season

Saturday was Makena's last game for Little Dribblers Basketball. Her team only won 1 game but she had a fantastic time with her teammates and coaches. We really enjoyed meeting so many new girls and families and will miss our Saturday distraction. They had a dinner/banquet after the game at Pizza Hut. Her coach made each of the girls a picture with their name on it, and the coaches each got a team pic. All the girls signed the backs of the photos so everyone would remember their names. :) I thought that was so sweet! Her coach also gave all the girls a medal and said a few words about each girl. All I remember from her speech about Makena is "she might be the smallest girl on the team..." SO TRUE! The rest was all good- something about being the most improved and being a hard worker. We couldn't be more proud of our tiny player! Thanks for a great season Sparks!!!
