Cooking Again

After taking a couple of months off, Kirsten and I got back on the ball and signed our girls up for the kids' cooking class at HyVee. Saturday morning, they went for an hour and made tons of Valentine-themed things! They had a drink made of pink sherbet, ice cream and strawberry soda. Then they made cherry rollups and cherry cinnamon rolls- both with the most fantastic tasting dough. They formed chocolate/peanut butter rice krispie treats into the shape of hershey kisses and wrapped them in foil. They cut out watermelon in a heart shape and put an "arrow" through it made of a wood skewer & orange slices. It was a fun time, since they knew all the other kids in the class. Their good friend Taylor was even there.
