2011 Snow Day #2

The kids and I enjoyed some time on Thursday afternoon playing in the snow during their 2nd snow day of the year. Landon and I weren't feeling great, but we ventured out anyway. We got the whole driveway and sidewalks shoveled, and the kids got to play for quite a while. They enjoyed the big snow piles I've been making with the snow I shoveled off the driveway. They even got out their basketballs and tried to play. Makena attempted to ride her bike with her snowsuit & boots on (after I warned her it wouldn't be a good idea), and promptly fell. Hee Hee! It turned out to be a fun afternoon... but I hope we don't have too many more of these days!
