We took some measurements at the house we're buying, during the inspection this morning. We have concluded that our clothes washer and dryer won't fit in the laundry closet. They're GE brand, only used 2 years, have pedestals making them 54" tall, are about 28 1/2" deep, the dryer door can be reversed, and they are wonderfully easy to use. We're asking $2,000... they were about $3,000 brand new. It makes me sad to have to sell them but hopefully we'll find something else that will fit better. These are also posted on craigslist under "household items for sale." Please tell anyone who might be interested. We'll have to have them sold before we move in the next month.
How about a straight trade for our washer/dryer? I'm sure they'll fit perfect in your new closet. And they are only 5 years old, still in like-new condition! They were about $1500 new so I think its a fair offer...haha!
